I write the kind of stories that emerge from the moments when you are awake and asleep — historical fiction with real weight to it. Stories where the world matters as much as the romance. Where the danger isn't just emotional, it's political, physical, and very, very old.
The Broken series began as a single scene I couldn't get out of my head: a woman arriving at an inn, sharing a bed with a man she once loved and was betrayed by. That scene became Raven. Raven became a trilogy. The trilogy became something I think about every day.
I don't write about perfect people in perfect circumstances. I write about complicated people trying to survive impossible ones — and what happens when love becomes the most dangerous complication of all.
When I'm not writing, I'm researching 18th-century Scotland — the clan politics, the Jacobite legacy, the way loyalty and survival were always in tension. The history isn't backdrop. It is the story.
The Broken trilogy — Raven, Ludan, and Fenrir — is being published across 2025 and 2028. If you want to know what happens before the rest of the world does, the best place to be is on my list.
